The Book of Tea

A book published at the turn of the 20th century by a Japanese man in English. There are no explicit how-to instructions for the tea ceremony, but for a complete novice to Japanese Tea Culture I am enjoying it. Lots of discussion of the philosophy and meaning behind the ceremony. Available free online for download from the Internet Archive
