Topic: How do I upload a photo to a topic or in a reply?

Kingston - great to see you here. I'm pretty sure the software doesn't support uploading images (without an add-on module / patch), but you can link to an image hosted an external photo site (photobucket, flickr, or whatever), by putting the URL to the image inside the tags.

I have the same question. I want to post a picture of a mystery tea...I tried putting in a link to flickr, but got the message that links are not allowed. I see that some people were able to put in pictures. How do you do it?

Use the [ img ] tag (only without the spaces).

Hello dear forum people,
i am a new user and wanted to link an image to my post. Unfortunately the same message as reported above
appears "Too more links in message. Allowed 0 links. Reduce number of links and post it again."
Can anyone help with this issue?

Hi --
We have a big problem with forum spam (and not a lot of legitimate traffic these days). I believe you'll be able to embed images after you've been on the forum longer / have more posts. In the meantime, if you want to link to your image URL as just text, I can edit your post after the fact. Or just ask your question minus the photo for now.
For now, I've at least added a fix for the typo ("too more" vs "too many").
